Salesforce Technology Architect
Location: Toronto, ON
Pay Rate: CAD$90 - CAD$100/hr INC
Scope of Work
• Define integration approaches between Salesforce, legacy systems, and third-party applications, including middleware and data flow designs.
• Assess business processes and produce architectural design documents.
• Identify technical risks related to integration, scalability, and compliance, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Develop high-level and detailed architecture artifacts (data models, integration patterns, security frameworks).
• Provide specifications for Salesforce customizations, configurations, APIs, and integration components.
Deliverables
• Integration approach and data flow diagrams.
• Business process assessment and architecture documentation.
• Technical risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
Mandatory Requirements
• 5+ years Salesforce experience
• 5+ years architect experience working with vendors
• 5+ years technical architect experience
Desired Skills & Experience
• Strong expertise in Salesforce platform architecture.
• Leadership experience delivering technical architectures in complex environments.
• Experience with structured methodologies for design and implementation.
• Advanced skills in systems analysis and design within large-scale Salesforce environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL-based process design.
• Experience translating business requirements into reporting and data needs.
• Ability to develop conceptual, logical, and physical data/process models.
• Experience using CASE tools and project management tools.
• Awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience producing enterprise architecture documentation.
Salesforce Experience
• 5+ years Salesforce architecture experience.
• Strong background in large enterprise Salesforce design and ITIL-based processes.
• Knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Field Service Lightning, Data Cloud.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft).
