Altitude Aerospace is seeking a Project Manager who is eager to join a dynamic, flexible, and fast-growing company based in Montreal.
We are currently launching a major project to support one of our clients in the development of a new aircraft. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating and steering engineering activities:
- Plan, structure, and execute complex technical projects following best practices in project management;
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve objectives at each project phase;
- Manage project milestones, including PDR, CDR, and other formal reviews;
- Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders;
- Identify and mitigate risks while maintaining focus on deliverables;
- Prepare and present progress reports (schedule, budget, risks);
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS :
- You have a degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or equivalent work experience;
- PMP certification is considered a plus.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering project management;
- You have a good knowledge of project planning and monitoring tools such as MS Project;
- Strong proficiency in Excel within a project management context: lookups, conditional formulas, dependency tracking, creation of pivot tables, basic automation, and development of tracking templates.
- You are proficient in written and spoken French and English;
