Akkodis is currently searching for a Technical Architect for our public sector client within the Ottawa area.
Job Description:
- Provide 3rd-line support for resolving complex IT related incidents and problems, including root cause analysis and resolution.
- Design, implement, and maintain Email Services components.
- Prepare and Review requests for comments.
- Collaborate and liaise with departmental technical groups and integration teams.
- Hybrid work environment.
Mandatory Experience Required/Must Haves:
- GOC Secret security clearance.
- 10 years of experience working as a technical architect.
- 10 years working on an enterprise email system.
- Experience planning, developing, validating and implementing enterprise email architecture.
Additional Requirements/Nice to Haves:
- Working as a technical architect on a Microsoft Exchange Server.
- Experience implementing directory synchronization tools.
- Experience providing impact analysis for the configuration and technological changes to email systems.
- Experience installing, configuring, integrating, testing and troubleshooting email hardware and software.
- Experience working on a major email system upgrade. (EX: upgrading Exchange 2003 - 2007)
