The Opportunity
We’re looking for an organized, detail-driven Construction Project Manager who can confidently lead projects from pre-construction through close-out. In this role, you’ll coordinate with owners, consultants, and subtrades, oversee budget and schedule, and help keep projects moving forward in a professional, efficient, and people-focused way.
You’ll join a tight-knit team and play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing multiple projects. From early coordination and permitting through construction and close-out, you’ll help ensure work is carried out safely, on schedule, and to Baribeau’s quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee pre-construction and start-up of assigned projects including coordination with government bodies, architects, engineers and owners.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in the $1M–$20M range.
- Support RFP responses, estimating, and tendering.
- Lead and manage execution with consultants, suppliers, and subtrades.
- Prepare and/or review cost reports and project schedules, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans.
- Review and process shop drawings; maintain project logs and documentation.
- Act as the primary contact for owners and maintain strong relationships..
- Chair site meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
- Ensure work is completed safely and meets quality standards.
- Creatively resolve site issues and coordinate Change Orders, Site Instructions, RFIs.
- Manage project close-out, including deficiencies, final walk-through, close-out documentation and warranty work.
- Identify training opportunities and contribute to improving systems and efficiencies.

Qualifications and Experience
- 5+ years of relevant construction experience, including PM or site supervision.
- Experience managing industrial, commercial, institutional, and/or multi-family residential projects, ideally $5M+.
- Experience in ISO 9001 or similar structured quality-management environments (COR an asset).
- Strong ability to read drawings, specifications, and spec books; understands subcontractor scopes.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel throughout the London/Southwestern Ontario region.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and ability to learn software such as SiteMax.
- Familiarity with construction accounting; experience with Joe’s Premier is an asset.
- Assets: Gold Seal (GSC), PMP, CET, or related post-secondary education (Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, etc.).
- Ability to navigate job sites, ladders, stairs, and perform occasional physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs).
