As a Projects Director at Coffrages Synergy, you will oversee major projects. You will be responsible for ensuring project performance, quality, and profitability, while optimizing resource utilization and maintaining smooth communication between all stakeholders involved.

That all sounds great, but what does a typical day as a Projects Director look like?
- Supervising, supporting, and developing Project Managers in their daily activities;
- Ensuring consistency in work methods, quality standards, and project management practices;
- Participating in overall project, budget, and schedule planning;
- Tracking and validating work progress and schedules (MS Project);
- Managing a portfolio of simultaneous projects and ensuring they meet deadlines, quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations;
- Supporting teams during complex situations, site issues, or critical decisions;
- Planning labor, equipment, and material needs in collaboration with relevant departments;
- Working closely with our Superintendents and General Superintendents to optimize resource allocation across sites based on priorities;
- Analyzing risks, anticipating issues, and implementing action plans;
- Monitoring performance indicators and proposing process improvements;
- Participating in project kickoff, coordination, and progress meetings;
- Maintaining efficient and proactive communication between the office, job sites, clients, and partners;
- Handling contractual matters, change directives, and high-level client relations;
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications to ensure proper execution on site;
- Overseeing project documentation and ensuring its compliance;
- Conducting site visits to ensure operational and quality follow-ups;
- Ensuring compliance with standards, legal requirements, and health and safety best practices;
- Performing any other related tasks necessary to support project success.
What you’ll need:
- Strong experience in construction (formwork is a significant asset);
- Extensive expertise in project management within the construction industry;
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project;
- Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and priority management;
- Valid driver’s license;
- ASP Construction certification;
- Dynamism, rigor, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
