DESCRIPTION:
- Improve monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve issues in the Data Hub ecosystem.
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual intervention, improve system reliability, and accelerate data pipeline operations.
- Continuously improve existing data workflows and infrastructure by identifying bottlenecks and implementing scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance observability, traceability, and performance of data systems.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data integration and deployment processes.
- Ensure all incidents and anomalies are logged, analyzed, and used to inform future improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to minimize recurring.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a DataOps, DevOps , or IT operations role with a strong focus on automation and monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Matillion, SSIS ).
- Proficient in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python ).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., GitHub, Azure ).
- Understanding of observability tools and incident management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA ).
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation (3 hours per month on the weekend ).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, French & English .
