Overview
The Functional Analyst / Configurator for SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) – Work Management is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing SAP PM solutions to meet business operational needs. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, configuring SAP PM modules, troubleshooting functional issues, and ensuring seamless integration with related SAP modules. The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling effective work management processes such as maintenance planning, scheduling, work order execution, and asset lifecycle management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP PM Functional Analyst or Configurator.
- Strong functional expertise in SAP PM Work Management processes (notifications, work orders, maintenance plans, scheduling, capacity planning).
- Experience with integration points between SAP PM and MM, FI, and PS modules.
- Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and configure SAP accordingly.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with testing, defect management, and change control processes.
- Fluency in French (spoken and written) is mandatory; English proficiency is an asset.
- Experience working in utilities, manufacturing, public sector, or asset-intensive industries is an advantage.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA PM functionalities.
- Experience with mobility solutions for maintenance (SAP Work Manager, SAP Asset Manager).
- Understanding of EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) best practices.
- Exposure to integration tools (PI/PO, APIs) and reporting tools (BW, SAC).
