The selected candidate may either be based full-time on the Halifax construction site or work on a fly-in/fly-out rotation (21 days on site followed by 7 days off in Québec). As a Superintendent, he or she will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring effective team coordination, strict adherence to plans and specifications, consistent quality control, and the highest standards of health and safety.

This all sounds great, but what does a typical day as a Superintendent look like?
- Plan and coordinate work in collaboration with the project management team;
- Supervise crews, assign tasks, verify work quality, provide guidance, and monitor performance;
- Ensure work compliance;
- Manage priorities and resolve issues;
- Ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards;
- Manage work progress;
- Enforce EHS regulations in collaboration with our EHS prevention team;
- Collaborate with the project management/leadership/engineering teams.
What you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in site/construction supervision (formwork experience is a strong asset);
- Mandatory bilingualism (French and English);
- Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and work quality requirements;
- Ability to work on a rotational schedule (21/7), flexibility, autonomy, and rigor;
- Excellent team management and coordination skills.
