Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager / Project Manager IV in the Oil and Gas industry in Edmonton, Alberta.
Join a leading energy organization as a Project Manager IV, overseeing the facilities scope of a major gas pipeline project in British Columbia. This is a high-impact role requiring strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and expertise in managing large-scale gas facility programs. Hybrid work model based in Edmonton or Calgary.
Responsibilities:
- Manage facilities scope from design through completion
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Monitor project performance and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Lead and mentor engineering and support staff
- Build strong relationships with senior management and partners
- Drive project success through strategic leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of project management experience
- Proven track record with large-scale gas facility projects
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including Indigenous communities
- Experience in safety leadership and regulatory compliance
- PMP certification and P.Eng. designation preferred
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change
