We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Kitchen Designer / Sales who will report directly to the Vice President and will have experience in kitchen and custom cabinetry design . You will design and sell kitchen, vanities, closets and other custom millwork.
We are looking for a creative, ambitious, professional and experienced candidate to join our dynamic team. Someone who is a designer at heart.
This role is suitable for someone who is confident in being the sole contact with a client and can handle all the design aspects of our industry independently. Experience is a must!
Job Description
- Qualify clients, execute design consultations, provide quotes and recommend product options based on client’s needs
- Preliminary design planning followed through to finalized project design development
- Consultation with clients and internal teams throughout projects
- Effectively facilitate the sale of projects, prepare contract documentation & submit orders for approval
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed throughout the project
- Follow up with client post project installation and service.
- Maintain relationships with clients throughout the entire design process to ensure outstanding customer experience
- Network and maintain a prospect list to develop and grow a network of builders, designers and clients
- Meet individual sales targets
- Mentor and Train Junior Designers
- Provide exceptional customer service
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5 or more years of experience designing and selling custom kitchens, vanities and custom millwork
- University Degree or College Diploma in Interior Design or equivalent work experience
- Previous sales experience is required and proven ability to close deals successfully
- Proficiency in working with Autocad is a must
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office, esp. Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to interpret specifications and drawings and take accurate site measurements.
- Effective written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Experience in space planning, construction, kitchen and bath design
- Must be highly motivated and detail oriented
- Charismatic, passionate, innovative, customer service oriented
- Excellent time management and exceptional customer service skills
