The Organization:
My client is the fastest growing network of independent restoration contractors in Canada.
They provide high quality 24/7 emergency response, restoration and specialty services to the insurance industry, residential, commercial, institutional and industrial customers.
Primary Role and Responsibilities will include:
Membership Support & Development
- Regular communication with existing members on matters directly affecting their operations
- Identify new members using established membership development methodology and criteria
- Identify and coordinate regional membership networking opportunities
- Coordinate and/or provide member training
- Attend, plan/coordinate national and regional meetings with members
- Contribute material for internal communications
Communication & Reporting
- Submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Attend national marketing committee and annual member meetings
- Documentation of sales activities
Budget & Marketing Plan
- Hire a Business Development Manager and assist with the development of an annual marketing plan and budget
- Assist in implementing marketing plan initiatives while maintaining expenses within an allocated budget
- Keep abreast of changes within the industry, including customers and competition
Development of New and Existing Accounts
- Identify account opportunities and maintain a high degree of sales activity
- Help promote services nationally
- Report activities and milestones on a regular basis
Marketing Support
- Attend regional and national trade shows
- Promote and coordinate attendance at trade shows, seminars and regional meetings as necessary
- Assist with RFI / RFP responses
- Assist with national catastrophic response plan and procedures
Skills and Qualifications:
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, competitive environment
- Exceptional communication skills: written, verbal and presentation
- High attention to detail with a focus on fact-based decision making
- 5+ years of experience in the Insurance or Property Restoration Industry is an asset but not a requirement
- Social media experience
