Job Opportunity: Brand Designer – Merchandise (BKFC) Location: Remote / Hybrid (Toronto / LA preferred)

BKFC is the fastest-growing combat sports brand, and we’re building out a new merchandise program that needs a Brand Designer – Merchandise who can define and execute the visual direction for BKFC apparel and product lines. This is a hands-on role focused on merch graphics, apparel design, branding, and creative identity.

What You’ll Do - Design merch graphics for apparel (tees, hoodies, headwear), accessories, and collectibles.
- Develop brand direction for BKFC merchandise — visual themes, seasonal looks, stylistic rules.
- Create graphic systems that translate across fight tees, walkout apparel, event merch, and retail drops.
- Build artwork for screenprinting, embroidery, patches, specialty finishes, heat-press, etc.
- Produce detailed mockups for line sheets, product decks, and retailer presentations.
- Design athlete-driven merch capsules that reflect fighter identity and fan culture.
- Collaborate with 223’s production and sourcing teams to ensure graphics translate cleanly to finished product.
- Maintain brand consistency across all merchandise releases and campaigns.
Skills & Experience - Strong portfolio showing merch graphics, apparel art, or streetwear/sports branding .
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop (InDesign/Figma a plus).
- Experience designing for sportswear, fight brands, entertainment, or streetwear.
- Understanding of production constraints (screenprint, DTG, embroidery, etc.).
- Strong typography, layout, and visual storytelling abilities.
- Ability to create cohesive visual direction — not just single designs.
- Fast, clean execution with high attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, drop-driven environment.
Bonus Skills - Experience with athlete merchandise or licensing.
- Interest in combat sports, UFC, boxing, wrestling, MMA, or niche fight culture.
- Motion design skills (simple product reveals or hype assets).
- Experience in packaging or retail display graphics.
