Your Responsibilities
- You’ll serve as the subject matter expert for Emergency Management and Fire Safety, guiding internal teams with confidence and clarity.
- In this role, you’ll develop and implement emergency and alternative measures plans across multiple sites.
- You’ll conduct audits and compliance reviews related to Fire Code, building egress, and life safety systems.
- You’ll lead training programs, drills, and simulations to strengthen readiness and awareness across the organization.
- You’ll partner with Joint Health and Safety Committees to plan and evaluate evacuation exercises.
- You’ll provide on-call support for incidents that require escalation outside standard business hours.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Emergency Management or Occupational Health and Safety.
- Diploma or degree in Fire Protection and Prevention or Occupational Health and Safety.
- CRSP designation or equivalent certification is required.
- Working knowledge of fire codes, building codes, and safety standards.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train and present to large groups.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
