Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization (formerly Interaction Studio) to design and implement personalized, data-driven customer experiences across digital channels. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of Marketing Cloud, real-time personalization strategies, and integration with CRM and external systems. Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud, Pardot, and Adobe AEM / Elastic Path is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Development
- Configure and implement Marketing Cloud Personalization solutions to deliver real-time, personalized experiences.
- Develop and manage personalization campaigns, templates, and content blocks.
- Interaction Studio Development
- Build and manage real-time personalization campaigns using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
- Configure behavioral tracking, decisioning rules, and dynamic content templates.
- Integrate Interaction Studio with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CRM, and external data sources via APIs and SDKs.
- Digital Workplace Studio Integration
- Develop and deploy solutions that connect Interaction Studio outputs with workplace tools like Microsoft Teams, Slack, or intranet portals.
- Automate workflows and notifications to enhance internal collaboration and campaign visibility.
- Design and test Interaction Studio unification and segmentation logic.
- Data Integration & Management
- Integrate Marketing Cloud Personalization with Salesforce CRM, CDP, and external data sources.
- Ensure accurate data mapping and segmentation for targeted experiences.
- Performance Monitoring
- Analyze campaign metrics and suggest optimizations.
- Build dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
- Optimization & Analytics
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize personalization strategies using A/B testing and analytics.
- Leverage Einstein Recommendations and predictive models for advanced personalization.
Collaboration
Work closely with marketing teams, solution architects, and developers to align personalization strategies with business goals.
Provide technical guidance and mentor junior team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with at least 2+ years in Personalization/Interaction Studio.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Strong hands-on experience with Interaction Studio and Journey Builder.
Digital Workplace Studio: Familiarity with workplace automation platforms and integration frameworks.
Web Technologies: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON.
APIs & SDKs: Experience with RESTful APIs, server-side scripting, and SDK integrations.
Data Handling: Understanding of CDP data models, cleansing, and mapping.
Certifications:
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Consultant (preferred).
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization Specialist (highly desirable).
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and ability to work in agile environments.
Nice-to-Have
Experience with Salesforce CDP, Einstein AI, and Journey Builder.
Familiarity with tag management systems and web personalization frameworks.
