Skills and Responsibilities:
• Strong verbal and written communication and reporting skills.
• Provide 24x7 production support for Linux servers and critical infrastructure components.
• Perform system administration, monitoring, and performance tuning to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• Manage user accounts, file systems, patching, backups, and security hardening.
• Troubleshoot OS-level, network, and application-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Implement and maintain automation scripts (using Shell, Python, or Ansible) to streamline repetitive tasks.
• Manage configuration and deployment processes across Dev, QA, and Production environments.
• Ensure compliance with change management and incident management processes (ITIL framework preferred).
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and prepare preventive action plans to mitigate future incidents.
• Collaborate with application, security, and infrastructure teams to maintain a secure and stable production ecosystem.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, procedures, and support activities.
