As Manager, Total Rewards , you will partner with senior leaders to design fair, transparent, and future-ready compensation and benefits programs. You will lead a team, guide strategic decision making, and champion practices that advance equity, data integrity, and organizational effectiveness. Your Responsibilities
- You’ll lead job evaluation processes for both union and non-union groups, co-chairing committees and ensuring consistency across the organization.
- You’ll guide leaders on job design, maintain evaluation systems, and oversee accurate HRIS updates.
- You’ll conduct compensation studies, internal equity reviews, and market analyses, presenting insights to senior leadership.
- You’ll monitor legislative changes, ensuring compliance with Pay Equity, ESA, and pay transparency requirements.
- You’ll oversee benefits, pension, and disability programs, including renewals, audits, reconciliations, and reporting.
- You’ll manage annual compensation cycles, forecasting, compression reviews, and executive compensation support.
- You’ll drive process and technology improvements that enhance automation, data quality, and program delivery.
- You’ll integrate DEI principles into Total Rewards practices, support pay transparency communication, and mentor team members.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits within a large, complex, unionized environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
- CCP and CEBS certifications or equivalent experience, with CHRL considered an asset.
- Advanced analytical skills, including strong Excel capabilities and comfort with HRIS and compensation planning systems.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and provide consultative, data-driven guidance.
- Experience leading and developing HR or Total Rewards teams.
- Knowledge of DEI principles, pay transparency requirements, and managing sensitive compensation matters.
