Our team tackles industrial, commercial, and residential projects, but this posting is tied to a major industrial lighting upgrade at a Conuma Coal site in Tumbler Ridge. It’s a multi-phase project scheduled for well over a year, offering steady work, overtime opportunities, and a strong team environment.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrician working at a remote industrial facility in Tumbler Ridge, BC.
You’ll be installing, repairing, and maintaining lighting systems and branch circuits throughout the site as part of a large-scale upgrade.
Workdays are 12-hour shifts , providing significant opportunity for overtime and double-time earnings . Applicants must be comfortable with long days, outdoor industrial environments, and working cohesively with a tight-knit crew to keep the project moving efficiently and safely.
Daily responsibilities include:
• Installing and upgrading lighting systems across multiple site phases
• Running and troubleshooting branch circuits
• Performing maintenance and repair of electrical components
• Following all safety protocols, lockout procedures, and site requirements
• Working with foremen, project managers, and crew members to complete production targets
Qualifications
• Red Seal or Journeyperson Electrician (or registered Apprentice with strong experience)
• Strong foundational electrical skills, including troubleshooting and maintenance
• Comfortable with long shifts and industrial work conditions
• Ability to work efficiently in a team setting and follow project schedules
• Understanding of safety protocols and industrial site procedures
• Previous industrial experience is an asset, especially in mining or heavy industry
