The Role
Supporting the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice, you will operate in a Hybrid Paralegal/Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA) capacity. You will be assigned to support one or two lawyers directly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence for a variety of files including Estate, Real Estate, Construction, and Employment litigation.
- Organization: Manage court interactions, scheduling, and maintain a rigorous Bring-Forward (BF) system.
- Fact Finding: Organize case materials and conduct witness interviews.
- Administration: Handle full-cycle file management (opening/closing), conflict searches, scanning, and monthly invoicing.
- Technology: Utilize the iManage Document Management System to keep files organized.
Your Profile
- Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in a litigation practice.
- Education: Paralegal diploma or certificate is preferred.
- Location: Ideally located on or near the North Shore .
- Soft Skills: You are a problem solver who can work independently but thrives in a collaborative team setting.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 (Commensurate with experience).
- Bonus: Discretionary annual bonus.
