We are looking for a Structural Calculation Engineer to support our rail engineering team.
You will be embedded with the project group and be responsible for requirement management, structural calculations ( static and fatigue ), and preparation of formal engineering reports in compliance with North American rail standards and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform static and fatigue structural calculations using approved engineering methods (EI, DTRF, etc.).
- Prepare and release stress calculation documents and comprehensive structural analysis reports.
- Plan and track workload, schedules, and budgets; provide regular updates on progress.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure all deliverables meet customer specifications and industry standards .
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering (or related field).
- Proven experience with structural analysis , fatigue assessment, and engineering documentation in the Railway field.
- Familiarity with North American rail standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Proficiency with structural calculation tools and relevant software.
- Strong written communication skills for clear, concise report writing.
