Quick Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join a team focused on building tools that improve cost management and forecasting across the product lifecycle. This role involves developing complex Angular applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
Location: Vancouver, BC or Seattle, WA (Onsite, 4 days/week)
Contract: 6 months + extensions
Must-Haves:
- 8+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years with Angular / AngularJS
- Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX skills
- 2+ years with Bootstrap
- 5+ years working with RESTful services
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress)
- Experience with Agile development practices
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement complex Angular applications, directives, controllers, and services
- Perform unit testing, deployments, and technical documentation
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues
- Participate in estimation, planning, and code reviews
- Introduce tools and automate repetitive tasks
- Mentor junior developers and guide best practices
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with machine learning integration for predictive costing
- Knowledge of supply chain or costing systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Advanced experience with performance optimization and accessibility standards
