Senior Generative AI Engineer – Copilot / Power AutomateSummary
We are seeking a Senior Generative AI Engineer with hands-on experience in Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate to support and scale our organization’s use of AI-driven productivity tools. This role blends technical expertise in building and optimizing agents with the ability to support and guide non-technical users. The engineer will troubleshoot Copilot issues, review and refine agents, and ensure compliance with data loss prevention (DLP) and governance policies. Beyond day-to-day support, they’ll help strengthen our Power Platform Center of Excellence (COE) through documentation, lifecycle standards, and observability practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support & Troubleshooting: Own Copilot and Power Automate issue resolution, including connectors, permissions, and workflow errors.
- Agent Review & Optimization: Refine agents for efficiency, scalability, and compliance with governance standards.
- User Enablement: Guide employees in safely building and optimizing agents, explaining platform limits and data-handling best practices.
- Architecture Awareness: Apply knowledge of agent architectures, prompt lifecycles, and RAG patterns to improve design quality.
- Governance & COE: Partner with data, security, and compliance teams on DLP alignment and contribute to Power Platform COE monitoring and lifecycle initiatives.
- Documentation & Improvement: Create user guides, document patterns, and propose enhancements based on recurring issues.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate (core ).
- Ability to design, troubleshoot, and optimize agent workflows and connectors.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem , DLP policies, and governance controls.
- Strong understanding of agent architectures and prompt-response lifecycles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical details for non-technical users.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of RAG, multi-agent orchestration, or MCP server concepts.
- Experience with observability, or cost monitoring.
- Exposure to enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Dataverse, Azure Data Lake).
- Contribution to a Power Platform COE or similar governance effort.
