What is the opportunity?
Network Security SRE team is looking for an automation developer who is experienced of working across the full stack, building automation solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth.
The ideal candidate will leverage automation-driven control monitoring and control assurances for network security technologies including firewalls, intrusion prevention, network malware prevention, proxies, and VPN gateways.
You will have the tools and resources needed to achieve extraordinary results that render a significant impact extending beyond the boundaries of traditional security analyst roles. What will you do?
Project 1 – configuration drift over different platforms.
Project 2 – Metrics / KRIs and KPIs, across company, subsidiaries and recent acquisitions.
- Automate processes with Python (or equivalent languages), identify opportunities for efficiency gains, and enable continuous integration.
- Collect and document users' requirements and develop logical specifications. Research, evaluate and synthesize technical information to design, develop and test application.
- Develop new features in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design.
- Maintain compliance with security standard for all environments including sub systems (such as DBaaS instances and virtual servers) and ensure vulnerabilities are resolved on time.
- Support and lead the implementation of automation use cases and provide support for SRE processes and standards.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions to review and understand new technology and service deployments.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have:
- Coding experience in Python (or equivalent languages), SQL and NoSQL database programming languages
- Experience developing, testing, and troubleshooting automation scripts using REST APIs
- Experience working with DevOps CI pipelines (Git, Jenkins) and associated security protocols e.g., OAuth
- Ability to create a seamless and intuitive User Interface
- Excellent communication skills, time management and prioritization skills
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience of code review, creating test plans and test cases written by peers.
- Experience of creating visualization using Tableau.
