Position: Global Network Engineer
Location: Onsite — Mississauga, ON

The Global Network Engineer will play a key role in designing, testing, and deploying network, security, voice, and cloud networking infrastructure across all global sites. This role is hands-on and highly technical, with a primary focus on Level 3 support, proof-of-concept initiatives, emerging technologies, and documentation to support Network Operations. The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving skills and the ability to align technical solutions with enterprise-wide IT standards and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and deploy network, security, voice, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways) aligned with global standards.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to network, security, voice, Aruba Wireless, and Aruba Central platforms.
• Coordinate with vendors on service changes, hardware/software procurement, and related activities.
• Maintain detailed documentation for procedures, policies, and operational standards across network and cloud environments.
• Implement and monitor security solutions in alignment with the organization’s Information Security Framework.
• Support incident investigations, including potential security breaches.
• Represent network/security/cloud/Aruba Wireless functions during audits.
• Contribute to the development of Business Continuity Plans for network and cloud infrastructure.
• Travel up to 10% within North America and Europe.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Senior Manager, Global Network & Communications.
Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience designing and managing large enterprise networks and datacenter systems.
• 3–5 years of hands-on Azure Cloud experience in hybrid environments, including cloud networking design.
• Expert-level knowledge of switching/routing (BGP/OSPF) and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Strong understanding of datacenter and cloud networking trends and standards.
• Excellent collaborator capable of leading technical discussions and influencing outcomes.
• Committed to best practices and innovation within network and cloud technologies.
• Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
• French language skills (or willingness to learn) are an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Valid G-class driver’s license.
