This individual will oversee maintenance activities across multiple facilities and involves leading a team, managing repair and preventative-maintenance schedules, and ensuring high uptime for a diverse fleet of heavy equipment and machinery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to develop and lead maintenance team and provide support for ongoing projects
- Manage day to day maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must be able to take initiative, lead a team and stay on course to ensure the best possible result
- Independent thinker, ability to maintain priorities for the Maintenance department.
- Sense of urgency and the ability to multitask
- Technical and mechanical ability, Electrical knowledge (PLC, Controls)
- Ability to take full accountability for maintenance activities
- Manage troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of relevant management experience is required
- Previous experience in a maintenance management/supervisor role is required
- Ability to lead PM initiatives
- Experience with team development, project implementation
- Ability to work closely with multiple departments and teams
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, fabrication, and heavy equipment
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
