About the Project
Cross Fraser Partnership (CFP) is a Bouygues Construction Canada Inc., Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas Canada Ltd., Pomerleau BC Inc. and Arcadis Canada Inc. general partnership that has been selected to collaboratively deliver a new, eight-lane immersed tube tunnel that will replace the existing George Massey Tunnel on Highway 99. The new tunnel will have three vehicle lanes and one dedicated transit lane in each direction, with a separated active transportation corridor for cyclists and pedestrians.
Position Overview
The Temporary Works Coordinator is responsible for implementing and adhering to a procedure based on standards and policies, which defines the procedural control and management of Temporary Works on the Project, specifically regarding identification, design and verification. The Temporary Works Coordinator oversees the production of deliverables from designers, provides technical support, and ensures that Temporary Works meet the project requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the Temporary Works (TW) register throughout the execution of the project
- Validate the risk category according to the risk assessment
- Review the design briefs produced by the Methods team and ensure they are complete
- Initiate and oversee the procurement process for TW Designers
- Participate in the development of the contract with the TW Designers and formalize change orders when necessary
- Organize kick-off meetings with TW Designers
- Monitor the production of deliverables during the design phase and ensure they meet the project requirements
- Ensure that risk prevention principles related to health and safety through design are applied
- Ensure that the design meets the project needs, that the assumptions made are aligned with specifications and standards, and that the technical information provided is complete
Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
- Hold a full engineering license from EGBC
- Have at least 5 years of relevant experience in similar position
- Knowledge in AutoCAD is an asset
- Excellent technical knowledge

The expected salary range for this opportunity is $94,000 – $127,000. Please note that salaries may vary depending on the candidate’s experience and geographical location. Listed compensation is exclusive of bonus and in addition to our extensive employee benefits program, which is listed above. Availability of certain benefits may vary based on the specific job role.
