The Volunteer's Role
The primary goal of this placement is to enhance the capabilities of the Caribbean Vulnerable Communities (CVC) and the Eastern Caribbean Alliance for Gender Equality (ECADE) in developing and executing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools. These tools will effectively gauge the impact of their programs and services on the lived experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community across the Caribbean. As a volunteer, you'll collaborate with the team to design and implement M&E frameworks that prioritize a gender-responsive approach.
As a volunteer, you will:
Conduct a thorough evaluation of the current monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools to assess their effectiveness and relevance in measuring program outcomes, ensuring that they meet the needs of all stakeholders involved.Play an instrumental role in the design and development of new M&E tools and indicators, ensuring they are well-aligned with organizational goals and capable of accurately tracking progress while providing meaningful insights for comprehensive reporting on the success of program execution.Organize and facilitate engaging training sessions for team members to enhance their understanding of M&E best practices, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively implement these practices in their day-to-day operations.
Essential Requirements:
A university degree in social or political sciences, international development, human rights, gender studies, social work, law, public policy, or a related discipline.
Essential Background:
At least 3 years of proven experience in roles associated with promoting gender equality, diversity, and/or issues related to women's development.Experience in project monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities.Familiarity with reporting procedures.

Support Package
