We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to lead development their core financial infrastructure—handling millions of dollars in monthly transactions. You’ll work on high-stakes systems, collaborate with top-tier engineers, and build tools that help users earn rewards, build credit, and gain financial flexibility.
🔧 What You’ll Work On:
- Scalable backend services using NestJS , TypeScript , and Google Cloud Platform
- Ledger systems and financial data models with PostgreSQL and Cloud SQL
- High-volume payment processing pipelines and financial API integrations
- Event-driven microservices using Pub/Sub
- Infrastructure automation with Terraform
- Secure, compliant systems aligned with PCI DSS and SOC 2
👀 What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years backend experience, 2+ in fintech/payments
- Deep expertise in NestJS/Node.js , TypeScript , and PostgreSQL
- Experience with ledger systems, financial APIs, and cloud infrastructure
- Strong ownership mindset and clear communication skills
🌟 Bonus Points:
- Terraform experience
- Real-time payments or instant settlement systems
- Open banking or financial data aggregation exposure
