JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for a highly organized and tech-savvy Offshore Transportation Coordinator to join our retail client's Offshore Transportation team in Calgary, Alberta, for a 1 year contract. This individual would be responsible for supporting key logistics functions including data entry, container tracking, document organization, forecasting, and tendering. This role involves booking delivery appointments, verifying shipment documentation, and maintaining a shared group email inbox—sorting, filing, and actioning messages to support daily planning. Success in this role requires strong multitasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment and comfort working with MS Suite programs (Outlook, Excel etc.,). A background in Transportation or Supply Chain and/or knowledge of custom logistics programs, would be considered an asset!
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced / high-pressure environment
-Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP + basic functions) and comfortable working with MS Suite programs, such as Outlook
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-A background in Transportation or Supply Chain and/or knowledge of custom logistics programs, would be considered an asset!
-Experience in a Data Entry / Analyst role
