We’re currently seeking an experienced BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST to support our client, a leading Crown corporation in Saskatchewan’s natural gas sector. This is a full-time, onsite contract position based in Regina, Saskatchewan, supporting the Digital, Technology & Security (DT&S) group. The BI Analyst will transform complex datasets into actionable insights and support enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
Location & Work Hours
- Location: Onsite – Regina, Saskatchewan
- Start Date: January 2026 (preferred)
- Duration: Through March 31, 2027, with up to four automatic one-year renewals (15 months)
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST

Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence or closely related role
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, OR 10+ years equivalent experience
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Regina, Monday–Friday
Desired Experience & Skills
- Advanced SQL development and optimization
- Expert-level Power BI, Power Query, DAX
- Cloud expertise: Power BI Service, Microsoft Azure, Databricks
- Knowledge of Lakehouse architecture, Delta format, star schema models
- Strong data integration experience across legacy and cloud systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with data governance, content management, and compliance standards (e.g., PIPEDA)
- Ability to present complex insights clearly to diverse audiences
Typical Responsibilities / Deliverables
- Present analytical findings to business and technical stakeholders
- Guide business units through BI solution design and implementation
- Design and implement BI and data solutions supporting digital transformation
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, reports, and scripts
- Oversee integration and visualization of data from legacy systems
- Identify and mitigate technical risks
- Support data governance and compliance
- Ensure high-quality BI delivery across reporting environments
About the Role
This fully onsite in Regina Saskatchewan. The initial term runs through March 31, 2027 (15 months), with up to four one-year extensions.
