Salary Range: $74,600 - $99,500 plus bonus opportunity

Your Challenge:
- Engineer, Design, Develop and Test new embedded hardware at the forefront of technology
- Support and enhance existing embedded hardware
- Apply established development processes and assist in process improvement
- Analyze requirements, research and identify solutions and develop the design
- Generate complete and accurate user and design documentation
- Provide input to architecture and design reviews
- Provide input and evaluation of new technologies and products
- Keep current with embedded hardware trends and share knowledge
- Contribute to the release of manufacturing technical data packages for products
- Participate in maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere within the team
What you Bring:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Computer or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years Board level development and hands on lab experience (Co-Op experience is applicable)
- Experience/familiarity in the following is an asset:
- Experience working with a multi-disciplined team
- Familiar with a product development process
- Familiar with hardware test equipment – logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Familiarity with principles of high-speed digital circuit board design including signal integrity concepts
- Design capture tools (preferably Mentor Graphics)
- Requirements capture, analysis and tracking
- Hobby projects with Raspberry Pi and/or Arduino
- Familiarity with FPGAs
- A passion for following the latest trends in the world of computing
- A driven and motivated self-starter with a keen interest to learn
- A strong understanding of electronics and engineering principals and application to real world use.
- A strong sense of responsibility, commitment to quality and achieving deadlines
- Strong debug and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and written communication skills
