We are seeking a highly motivated and Business Development Specialist to drive growth through targeted outbound engagement with organizations across the performing arts, live entertainment, and cultural sectors.
This role is outbound-focused, responsible for proactively identifying, researching, and engaging high-value institutions such as theatres, festivals, museums, and performing arts organizations. You will initiate meaningful conversations, uncover operational and commercial challenges, and position AudienceView as a strategic long-term partner.
Beyond prospecting, you will play a key role in capturing market intelligence and contributing insight that shapes our go-to-market approach, account strategy, and targeting models. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of relationship-driven outreach, industry expertise, and operational performance.
What you'll do:
Outbound Prospecting & Account Development
- Proactively identify, research, and target organizations within the live events, arts, theatre, and museum sectors.
- Develop and execute strategic outbound campaigns across phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers through personalized, insight-driven outreach.
- Qualify prospects and assess organizational readiness, needs, and alignment with AudienceView’s platform.
- Secure and schedule discovery meetings with qualified prospects for Account Executives.
Insights, Operations & Enablement
- Maintain detailed, high-quality CRM records documenting all outbound activities and insights.
- Share qualitative feedback and market intelligence from prospects with Marketing to inform strategy.
- Contribute to playbooks and best-practice frameworks for engaging arts and cultural organizations.
What you'll need:
- Excellent creative writing skills to craft personalized, industry-aware outreach.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and driven by relationship-building and strategic impact.
- 1+ years of outbound-focused sales or business development experience within the live events, arts, theatre, performing arts, or museum industry.
- Strong understanding of the challenges, funding models, and audience dynamics within cultural organizations.
- Proven experience engaging senior stakeholders
- Comfortable with high-volume cold calling and strategic account-based prospecting.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
- Organized and analytical, with experience managing pipelines and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
