About the Role
As the Branch Manager, you will lead a high-performing front-line team delivering exceptional Personal Lines and Autoplan service while ensuring smooth day-to-day branch operations.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development:
- Coach, mentor, and empower team members across Personal Lines and Autoplan to achieve their professional and performance goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and collaboration that supports both employee engagement and client satisfaction.
Client Experience & Retention:
- Ensure consistent delivery of five-star service standards across all channels, leading by example in professionalism and empathy.
- Oversee renewal practices, follow-ups, and escalated situations to enhance retention and strengthen long-term client relationships.
Branch Operations & Compliance:
- Manage scheduling, workflow, and daily branch rhythm to maintain efficiency and alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor accuracy, documentation, and compliance with insurer and ICBC procedures, ensuring adherence to company standards.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as the key liaison between the branch and cross-functional teams including Operations, People & Culture, and Senior Leadership.
- Share insights and recommendations that support continuous improvement and alignment across branches.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Level 2 General Insurance License required; CAIB or CIP designation considered an asset.
- 5 years+ of experience with personal lines insurance and Autoplan, leadership experience a strong asset.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Applied Epic, AutoLink, Policy Center, and insurer portals.
- Strong understanding of Personal Lines and ICBC workflows.
