We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Insurance Sales Broker to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and providing tailored insurance solutions that meet individual and business needs. This role requires strong sales acumen, product knowledge, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and outbound prospecting.
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage options.
- Provide accurate quotes, explain policy details, and assist clients in understanding coverage.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive communication and service.
- Negotiate terms with insurance providers to secure the best options for clients.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and product offerings.
- Meet and exceed individual sales and performance targets.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in insurance sales, brokerage, or a related financial services role preferred.
- Active and current insurance broker license (RIBO, or equivalent for the relevant provincial regulatory body).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and close sales.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
