Job Requirements
Responsibilities
Business Development / Business Unit Development
- Pursue new business opportunities with strategic accounts within different industrial sectors: ASD (Aeronautic, Spatial, Defense) & Energy (Nuclear, Hydro, Gas & Utilities related).
- Perform business development activities, including outside sales, calls, social selling, and networking.
- Grow existing business with established accounts.
- Own proposal development, review, and negotiation with the support of the technical team.
- Complete negotiations on service-based engineering projects (fixed-price, delivery-based) or on time-based contracts (delegation of consultants).
Recruitment / HR
- Continuously interview and match candidates to have qualified talent ready to meet customer’s current and anticipated needs.
- Oversee consultants’ career evolution (annual review, training, etc.).
Other Management Duties
- Lead your own team of engineering consultants.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and project follow-up.
- Manage your P&L statement for your business unit.
- Potentially manage other business managers depending on experience.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1–10 years of working experience in a technical field, recruitment, or sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business (minimum requirement).
- Master’s degree in engineering preferred.
- Sales/business development experience, preferably in engineering services.
- Comfortable with customer prospection, cold calling, and account management.
- Willing to travel occasionally (a few days per month) for customer visits and internal meetings.
- Strong social and analytical skills.
- Self-starter with high energy and motivation.
- Recruitment experience is a plus.
- Competitive and self-driven mentality.
Total Compensation: $110,000 – $170,000
The actual salary offered depends on factors including location, knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
