About the Role
The CTR Northern Division is seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead our growing regional operations. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving business results, building strong customer relationships, and cultivating a high-performing team culture. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, a strong decision-maker, and a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations of the branch, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor workflow efficiency, resource allocation, and operational quality to maintain high service standards.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
Team Management & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and frontline employees.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and training initiatives.
- Foster a positive work environment that aligns with CTR’s values and encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Business Growth & Customer Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the Northern division.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to support revenue growth and business development efforts.
- Support sales initiatives by identifying new opportunities and ensuring delivery of high-quality services.
Financial Oversight
- Manage branch budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
- Review financial reports, track KPIs, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure cost control practices and profitability targets are met or exceeded.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of leadership experience in operations, branch management, logistics, or a similar industry.
- Proven track record of leading teams, managing budgets, and driving operational performance.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and adapt to changing demands.
- Demonstrated customer-service orientation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with standard office and operational software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the transportation, logistics, or industrial services sector.
- Knowledge of regional market dynamics within the Northern division.
- Experience managing multi-location or high-volume operations.
