The Opportunity
Leavitt Machinery is looking for a Credit Analyst to join our team in Kitchener, Ontario. As the Credit Analyst, you will build and maintain relationships with a portfolio of customer accounts, initiating collections, processing their credit applications and payments, and assessing risk.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Credit Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
- Regularly notify customers of overdue accounts
- Assist customers with account reconciliation and invoice dispute resolution
- Resolve collection issues by making payment arrangements with customers
- Assess risk and process credit applications
- Work closely with the Sales team to build and maintain positive customer relationships
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records and files related to collections
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- 5 years of credit or accounts receivable work experience
- CCP designation or enrollment in CCP program is a strong asset
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment
- Highly adaptable and resourceful with strong critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to work effectively autonomously

The base pay range for this role is: $58,000 to $68,000, depending on experience, plus bonuses.
This is a hybrid role based in Kitchener, Ontario. Once training is complete, work can be performed from home three days per week.
