Steeples Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our welcoming and collaborative team in Cranbrook, BC.

Steeples Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned mixed animal practice that has proudly served the East Kootenay region for decades.
Our clinic values teamwork, mentorship, and respect for the important role RVTs play in veterinary medicine. Technicians are encouraged to fully utilize their training and skills in patient care, diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, and client communication.
We see a wide variety of patients including small animals, equine, and livestock, which keeps each day interesting and engaging. This position can focus primarily on small animal medicine depending on the interests of the successful candidate.
The Role
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting veterinarians with examinations and procedures
Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgery
Performing laboratory diagnostics and imaging
Providing patient nursing care and treatments
Client education and communication
Helping maintain high standards of patient care and clinic organization
Both experienced RVTs and those earlier in their careers are encouraged to reach out.
Schedule
Full time position, approximately 40 hours per week.
Shifts are typically scheduled between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, with rotating Saturday coverage among staff. After hours emergency work may be available once comfortable in the role.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive wage of $24 to $30 per hour depending on experience
