We are seeking a dedicated Finance Clerk to join our finance team at our Montral headquarters. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Finance Clerk will support the daily financial operations of our multi-entity real estate platform by processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to efficient financial workflows. This entry-to-mid-level role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, family-owned environment and is committed to accuracy and compliance.
This is a full-time, in-office position based at our head office in Saint-Laurent, Montral.
Responsibilities- Prepare the weekly bank report to monitor cash flow and liquidity across operations.
- Process NSF (non-sufficient funds) transactions for tenants and generate related reports for the Accounts Receivable team.
- Record banking transactions and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and process intercompany billings as well as billings to joint venture partners.
- Record vendor invoices, process payments, and prepare/print corresponding checks.
- Handle tenant move-out refunds and related processing.
- Record and monitor parking-related transactions and revenues.
- Participate in data entry and processing within the Write-Up software for investment activities.
- Provide administrative support to the Finance department, including preparing and compiling audit documentation and maintaining internal controls.
- Maintain up-to-date financial records, databases, and filing systems for accounting and administrative documents.
- Manage incoming mail and ensure proper organization and filing.
- Provide reception coverage during lunch hours approximately once every two weeks.
Requirements and Skills- Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, financial, and mathematical abilities.
- Proficiency with accounting software and systems; experience with Yardi Voyager (or similar real estate/property management platforms) is considered a strong asset.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis functions, etc.).
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism.
- Strong written and verbal business communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Compensation- Competitive base salary of $65,000 $75,000, commensurate with experience.
