Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Xradarprovides services to the construction industry. Our services include Concrete Scanning, Cutting & Coring as well as a variety of non-destructive testing & advanced reporting. Our clients typically include General Building Contractors, Mechanical & Electrical Contractors as well as other trades aligned to the construction industry.
As Xradars new Electronics & Manufacturing Technician,you will be part of a small and dynamic team, building and maintaining novel geophysical equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the industry, receive training and start a career in the field. This role will exercise your ability to problem solve and overcome technical challenges. Your work will have direct and tangible results, and will be part of the foundation of an exciting new manufacturing operation.
As our Electronics & Manufacturing Technician, in your day-to-day responsibilities you will:
- Test, repair, and calibrate existing electronic systems
- Assemble and test newly manufactured systems
- Help fabricate parts and components (3D printing, laser cutting, CNC milling, etc.)
- Set up and maintain equipment and tools
- Track and maintain inventory of parts and assemblies
- Troubleshoot electronic circuitry and mechanical assemblies
- Use soldering and electronic diagnostic equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, etc.)
- Follow all health and safety protocols
On your resume, we will be looking for the following:
- Technical diploma in electronics or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Previous manufacturing or electronic/mechanical assembly experience
- Previous related experience in electronic troubleshooting and repairs
- Valid class 5 BC driver's license as required for use of company vehicle
