The Municipal Group of Companies is a diversified organization engaged in the heavy civil construction, mining, courier, and environmental services industries in Atlantic Canada. We are currently seeking the expertise of a Data Administrator to join our Health & Safety team at our head office in Bedford, NS.
Job Summary
The
Data Administrator reports to the Corporate Safety Systems Manager and performs administrative work in support of the Organization’s Health & Safety Program and its associated processes.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Data entry and maintaining of tracking databases
- Reconciling and analyzing data from multiple sources to ensure consistency and data integrity
- Filing electronic and paper documents
- Assisting with projects and helping to develop reports and presentations
- Providing support to employees with regards to accessing health and safety information and other resources
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, And Experience
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Planning and organization skills, ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Experience in an office administrative role is considered an asset
- Experience with safety system management software (e.g., eCompliance) and online contractor management platforms (e.g., ISNetworld, Avetta) is considered an asset
