Exhibit B _ Job Duties and Requirements
• Formulate and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and increase client acquisition in the aviation training sector.
• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive sales plans for Astrom Training Solutions’ aviation training products, including simulation courseware, AR/VR training systems, and the Galaxy Training Management System (TMS), to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within Canada and international aviation markets.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the company’s sales function, setting performance objectives, monitoring sales metrics, and ensuring consistent achievement of established quotas for airline and aviation organization clients.
• Analyze sales performance data, customer demand patterns, and industry purchasing trends to adjust pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and product positioning for aircraft-specific training solutions such as Boeing and Airbus simulation modules.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key airline clients, training departments, and aviation stakeholders, overseeing contract renewals, service agreements, and ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Authorize sales transactions, approve major client contracts within delegated authority limits, and oversee negotiation of pricing and service terms to ensure profitability and alignment with company sales objectives.
• Coordinate marketing and promotional initiatives, including trade shows, aviation conferences, digital advertising, and targeted campaigns promoting VR-based SOP trainers, machine learning-powered QAR analytics, and Galaxy TMS modules.
• Monitor inventory and licensing allocations for digital training products and simulation packages, ensuring timely delivery, accurate billing, and proper fulfillment of service agreements with aviation clients.
• Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff with knowledge of aviation training technologies, regulatory requirements, and product specifications, ensuring the team is equipped to effectively present and sell Astrom’s solutions.
• Resolve escalated customer concerns and service issues related to product implementation, system configuration, and training support, ensuring compliance with aviation regulatory expectations and maintaining Astrom’s reputation for quality and reliability.
• Prepare regular sales performance reports, revenue forecasts, and market analysis summaries for senior management, providing recommendations to improve sales efficiency, expand client acquisition efforts, and enhance competitiveness within the aviation training marketplace.
Requirements
Postsecondary education in business administration, commerce, marketing, or a related field is required. Industry-related training in aviation operations or pilot training systems is considered an asset.
Demonstrated knowledge of aviation training products, including simulation courseware, AR/VR training environments, QAR analysis and Training Management Systems (TMS), to effectively support sales and client consultations.
Working knowledge of AQP/EBT training methodologies sufficient to communicate product value and technical features to airline training departments.
Progressive experience in sales, account management, or supervisory roles within the aviation, technology, or regulated training sectors.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage a team responsible for revenue generation.
Experience negotiating sales contracts and managing client accounts with airlines or aviation-related organizations.
Ability to analyze sales performance data, market trends, and customer demand to adjust pricing, promotions, and sales strategies.
Strong leadership and staff supervision skills, including recruitment, training, and performance management of sales personnel.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to maintain long-term commercial relationships with aviation clients and internal teams.
