Utilities Planning Manager
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Utilities Planning Manager to join our team. Responsible for planning and preliminary design of the City’s water, wastewater, drainage and solid waste systems to support the City’s vision, guided by “Imagine Kelowna,”, to be an inclusive, welcoming, prosperous, and sustainable city by 2040.
The successful candidate will be a registered Professional Engineer in Canada with University Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent, with over 10 years’ experience in planning, design and fiscal management of municipal utility infrastructure systems and projects. With exemplary technical, project management, communications and leadership skills; that allow you to build teams and engage in meaningful partnerships to deliver excellent service and projects that benefit the public and community.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $163,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Most candidates can expect to start in the lower to mid-range of this scale, with opportunities for salary growth based on performance and tenure.
