Builder Helper / Installer Assistant Custom Outdoor Enclosures

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Builder Helper to join our team in Victoria/Nanaimoto support the installation of custom patio enclosures, screen systems, and louvered roofs. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a career in construction. Youll work alongside experienced installers, gain practical skills, and have a clear path to grow into a Lead Installer role over time.
WHAT YOULL DO
- Assistwith framing, screening, and installing louvered roof systems
- Cut and prepare materials under supervision
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe
- Follow safety protocols and work closely with your supervisor
- Helpmaintaintools and stock vehicles
- Support warehouse and occasional trade show setup as needed
- Local travel to job sitesrequired
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Were looking for someone who is dependable, physically capable, and eager to learn. You should be comfortable working outdoors, following directions, and taking pride in high-quality work. The ideal candidate will:
- Have a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license
- Be able to lift 50+ lbs and handle physically demanding, outdoor work
- Show up consistently and on time
- Be willing to learn new skills and follow instructions
- Bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Be comfortable using tools and working on ladders
- Pay attention to detail and care about doing the job right
- Have experience in construction, landscaping, or mechanical work (preferred but notrequired)
