Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operationPlan the incorporation of landscape structuresRead blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirementsTrim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, vista pruningManage landscaping projectsEstimate costsWater and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardensApply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care productsApply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutionsAssess the health of lawnsDirect crews who maintain the health and appearance of golf courses and their surrounding landscapesExamine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and diseasePlan and co-ordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposesPlant and maintain private and public lawns and gardensTree removal
