Production and Procurement Planner Our client is a leader in their space in manufacturing and distribution in the CPG space.
They are looking for an experienced operations and procurement person to join their team and oversee planning and purchasing in the Vancouver area.
Responsibilities: - Coordinate supply chain activities to support production schedules, customer demand, and inventory targets.
- Support new product development projects through material readiness, trials, and launch preparation.
- Create and maintain short-term production schedules based on demand, material availability, capacity, and maintenance constraints.
- Monitor raw materials, ingredients, and packaging inventory to meet production needs while minimizing excess and identifying slow or obsolete stock.
- Coordinate supplier deliveries and raw material availability with purchasing teams and track incoming materials.
- Manage inventory transfers between facilities and offsite warehouses to ensure material availability.
- Analyze supply chain data and prepare reports to support planning, purchasing, and process improvements.
Requirements: - Post secondary in business operations, logistics or related field preferred
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in Supply chain
- Strong computer skills, advanced knowledge of Excel
- ASCM designation - nice to have
Salary in the 75-85,000 range.
