About the Role
PRYDE Industrial is looking for a skilled Small Engine Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of small engines and equipment in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and isolate faults in engines and motors
Perform inspections and document test results
Repair or replace parts using hand tools and equipment
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment
Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
Estimate repair costs and communicate with supervisor
Provide guidance to apprentices
Equipment Experience
Diesel engines
Lawn mowers
Garden tractors
Gasoline-powered equipment
Outboard motors
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
1 2 years of relevant experience
Valid driver’s licence
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a physically demanding and noisy environment

Work Conditions
