Job Summary

Our client is seeking an AV Design Engineer based in Ontario. This individual will be responsible for preparing detailed documentation for installation teams, working on various audiovisual and control system projects, including video walls, large sound systems, performance lighting, and control systems.

What you bring to the team:

5+ years of experience in audiovisual roles (paid or volunteer).
Proficiency in Microsoft Visio.
Experience with D-Tools System Integrator.
Familiarity with AutoCAD LT is an asset.
Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
A commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities:

Produce detailed drawings such as AV schematics, elevations, rack layouts, conduit risers, and more.
Communicate project updates and concerns with stakeholders.
Adapt to changing project requirements.
Maintain an organized file system for documentation.
Create as-built drawings from redlined documents.
Participate in weekly team meetings.
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
