Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical permanent, full-time Utilities Revenue and Compliance Technician to support the accurate collection, monitoring, and enforcement of revenue-related processes.
In this role you will review accounts, investigate discrepancies, and work collaboratively with internal departments and the public to promote understanding and compliance. The role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to interpret and apply municipal bylaws and policies.

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Completion of senior secondary school or its equivalent.
- Two (2) years of recent, related working experience in cross connection control or utilities in a public works setting.
- Ability to obtain Cross Connection Control Inspector certification within six (6) months.
- Valid BC EOCP Level I Water Distribution Certificate and a member in good standing with the EOCP. *
- Proficient in intermediate Word and Excel as demonstrated through testing.
- Valid BC Driver's Licence - Class 5.
*All requirements must comply with the Operator Certification Program Guidelines as laid out by the British Columbia Environmental Operators Certification Program (EOCP) Society.

A comprehensive benefits package is included with this position. This is a CUPE local 900 position.
Please note that this is a new job classification, and the pay grade is subject to agreement between the Employer and the Union.
