Toronto | On-Site / Hybrid | 2 Days per Week
We are seeking a hands-on Property Manager with bookkeeping experience to oversee day-to-day operations and maintain accurate financials across a small portfolio.
This role is ideal for someone who can own both operations and numbers - not just coordinate, but execute.
Responsibilities
Property Management
- Manage tenant communication and day-to-day operations
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and vendors
- Oversee leasing support (showings, turnovers, basic screening)
- Ensure smooth operation across units/properties
Bookkeeping & Financials
- Maintain tenant ledgers and rent roll accuracy
- Handle AP/AR and rent collection tracking
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Track expenses and budgets by property
- Prepare monthly financial summaries
- Support year-end with external accountant
Requirements
- 2+ years property management experience
- Direct experience with property accounting (required)
- Proficiency in tools like QuickBooks, Buildium, AppFolio, or similar
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently with minimal oversight
- Comfortable handling both operational and financial responsibilities
Nice to Have
- Experience managing multiple residential units
- Familiarity with Ontario tenancy regulations
- Experience working with contractors/vendors
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time: 2–3 days per week
- Flexible structure (set days preferred)
- Compensation based on experience (hourly or contract)
