Position OverviewWe are seekingone Junior and one Senior Dance Instructorto lead ourtwo-week summer dance program. These roles are perfect for individuals who are energetic, experienced, and passionate about teaching dance toyouth ages 1116. You will provide a fun, safe, and engaging environment while helping participants build confidence, creativity, and teamwork through dance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead structured dance sessions for youth ages 1116
- Plan and deliver daily dance activities, choreography, and warm-ups
- Supervise participants and ensure a safe environment
- Foster creativity, confidence, and teamwork among participants
- Provide mentorship and positive guidance to campers
- Collaborate with other staff to integrate dance activities into the broader camp program
- Assist with program setup, transitions, and cleanup
Qualifications
- Educational background applicable to the position
- Must meet allCanada Summer Jobsrequirements, including:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
- Be legally entitled to work according to provincial/territorial legislation
- International students are not eligible; recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian citizens or permanent residents
- Experience working with children ages 612
- Strong skills in one or more of the following areas: sports, arts, swimming, recreation, education, health and nutrition
- Strong supervision and program planning skills
- Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
- CurrentFirst Aid and CPR certification(mandatory)
- Police Reference Checkcompleted within the last 6 months (mandatory prior to start date)
- HIGH FIVE: Principles of Healthy Child Development training(asset/required)
